War On Terrorism (A compilation of seminar papers)

The roots of terrorism in India directly lie across the border in Pakistan. It is said that the first step towards combating international terrorism is to identify the places from which it springs. Pakistan is fighting a proxy war with India but narrow electoral considerations were stalling our reaction. Combating terrorism is a big challenge before our government. To find out the answers on this burning problem, a National Seminar on ‘War on Terrorism’ was organized by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini in New Delhi on October 4, 2008. This is a collection of speeches of leaders and experts who addressed the seminar. The book consists of the speeches of Shri L. K. Advani, then Leader of Opposition, B. Raman, Former Head, Counter Terrorism Division, RAW, Rakesh Asthana, then Commissioner of Police, Baroda, Sundari R. Pisupati, renowned attorney, Dr. Justice S. R. Nayak, and Let. Gen (Retd.) S. K. Sinha.
